By accessing or using CampusCritique (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Platform.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, verified student contributors, and any other users who access the Platform in any capacity. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email with at least 14 days' notice.

CampusCritique is an independent college discovery and review platform. Its purpose is to help students, prospective students, and families make more informed decisions about new-generation educational programs in India — including programs focused on AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, FinTech, and other emerging fields.

• CampusCritique is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in a commercial relationship with any of the colleges listed on the Platform unless explicitly stated.
• College profiles, ratings, and reviews on the Platform are based on user submissions and editorial research — not official college communications.
• The Platform does not guarantee admission, placement, or any specific outcome for users who use its information for decision-making.
• CampusCritique does not accept payment from colleges to influence rankings, review prominence, or featured placement.

When you create an account on CampusCritique, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password).
• All activity that occurs under your account, including any content submitted.
• Notifying us promptly at connect@campuscritique.in if you become aware of unauthorized access to your account.

You may not share your account credentials with others, create accounts on behalf of another person without their authorization, or use automated means (bots, scripts) to create or access accounts.

Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent content moderation, verification requirements, or any Platform restriction is prohibited and may result in permanent suspension.

CampusCritique allows registered users to submit reviews, ratings, comments, and other content ("User Content"). By submitting content, you:

• Represent that the content is your own original work and that you have first-hand experience with the subject of the review.
• Grant CampusCritique a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform and in promotional materials.
• Understand that your content may be moderated, edited for clarity, or rejected by our editorial team.
• Acknowledge that published reviews may be visible to the public, associated with your display name.

Content Standards

All User Content must be honest, based on direct personal experience, and free from:

• False or misleading factual claims.
• Personal attacks, harassment, or defamatory statements about individuals.
• Promotional content sponsored or incentivized by any college or commercial entity.
• Content that violates applicable Indian law or infringes on intellectual property rights.

Moderation: We may remove content that violates these standards at our sole discretion, without prior notice or explanation. If you believe content has been removed in error, contact connect@campuscritique.in.

CampusCritique offers a "Verified Student" badge to users who register using a recognized college email domain (e.g., @vedamsot.org). This badge indicates that the account was created using a valid institutional email, not that we have independently verified every factual claim in the user's reviews.

• Obtaining a Verified badge by using an email address you are not authorized to use is a violation of these Terms and grounds for immediate account termination.
• We may revoke Verified status at any time if we determine that the email used is no longer valid or that the verification was obtained fraudulently.
• The Verified badge does not confer any special legal status or immunity from content moderation.

You may not use CampusCritique for any of the following:

CampusCritique provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content on the Platform.
• We are not liable for any decisions made by users based on content available on the Platform, including decisions regarding college admissions or educational programs.
• We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked to or from the Platform.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• User-submitted reviews represent the opinions of individual contributors, not the views of CampusCritique.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for any of the following reasons:

• Violation of these Terms and Conditions.
• Submission of fraudulent, misleading, or abusive content.
• Behavior that harms other users, colleges, or the integrity of the Platform.
• Prolonged inactivity (accounts inactive for more than 24 consecutive months may be removed).

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting connect@campuscritique.in. Upon termination, your profile will be deactivated and your personal data handled per our Privacy Policy.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.
