Clear rules for paid Connect sessions.

This policy explains how rescheduling, mentor no-shows, and support reviews work for paid CampusCritique Connect mentorship sessions.

General Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid 1:1 guidance or mentorship sessions booked through CampusCritique Connect on campuscritique.in.

  • All bookings are considered final. We do not offer standard cancellations by user choice.
  • Free CampusCritique features such as college pages, reviews, community discussions, and comparison tools do not involve payments and are not covered by refund rules.
  • Payments for Connect sessions are processed through Razorpay or another approved payment gateway shown at checkout.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only after payment succeeds and CampusCritique marks the session as confirmed.

Rescheduling Sessions

If you cannot attend your scheduled session, you may request to reschedule your session manually via email.

  • Reschedule requests must be emailed to us strictly before 2 hours of the scheduled session time.
  • You must provide a genuine reason for rescheduling in your email.
  • You must include your preferred next time slot based on the mentor's current availability on the platform.
  • Rescheduling is subject to platform and mentor approval.

Mentor No-Show (Refund Eligibility)

Refunds are generally only possible in the event that your assigned mentor does not join the scheduled session.

  • If the mentor fails to join, you must email support to claim a refund.
  • Mandatory Proof: You must submit a screenshot of the meeting lobby showing the current time clearly visible, proving that you were waiting for the mentor.
  • Claims without valid screenshot proof with the time visible will not be eligible for a refund.

Failed or Duplicate Payments

If payment fails or is dismissed before completion, the booking may remain temporarily held for a short checkout window and then expire automatically.

  • If money is deducted but the booking is not confirmed, contact us with the payment reference, date, amount, and email used for booking.
  • Verified duplicate payments for the same session will be refunded automatically after reconciliation.
  • If the slot hold expires before payment succeeds, the session is not guaranteed and you may need to book again.

Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are initiated through the payment gateway. Refunds generally take 5-7 banking days to reflect in the original payment method after initiation.

  • Refunds are sent back to the original payment method used for the booking.
  • Bank holidays, issuing bank delays, or gateway settlement timelines may affect the exact credit date.
  • CampusCritique cannot issue cash refunds or refunds to a different account or UPI ID.

Delivery of Services

As CampusCritique Connect provides digital 1:1 mentorship sessions, no physical shipping is involved.

  • Delivery is complete when you receive your booking confirmation email containing the session details and video link.
  • The service is considered fully consumed once the scheduled session concludes.
  • If you do not receive the confirmation email within 15 minutes of a successful payment, please contact support immediately.

* If there is a genuine problem or emergency issue, you may email us at least 24 hours before your session to request a refund. Our team will review the request, and a refund will only be granted if the team finds it to be a genuine concern.
