If you could tell a prospective student one thing about IMI Kolkata that isn't obvious from the website, what would it be?

I am spending a lot of time looking at websites, placement reports and online discussions while researching colleges. They were useful, but I often felt that they didn't tell me much about what life at a B-school is actually like once you join. That's why I'm asking this question. I'd love to hear from current students and alumni about things they discovered only after joining IMI Kolkata- good, bad, or simply unexpected. It could be about academics, faculty, placements, campus life, student clubs, hostel life, peers, or anything else that you think applicants should know before making a decision.

IMI Kolkata is much more immersive than it looks from the outside. The biggest thing you don’t really get from the website is how much the day-to-day experience pushes you to become more confident and independent. Between presentations, group projects, case discussions, committees and constant interaction with people from different backgrounds, you’re learning even outside the classroom. You really have to be proactive here the more you participate, the more you get out of the experience.
